The Traffic Geyser Lie About Google Ranking
Traffic Geyser is a video submission service that charges a monthly fee of $99 per month to submit your videos to as many as 40 video sharing sites such as youtube, google video, metacafe etc all in the hope that it would bring you direct traffic from the video views. Ok, this may be working and valid for many marketers however there is one false information put out by them. They have a demo on their website where they show you how by posting a video on youtube, they can get top spots on google within 10 minutes. The fact that the youtube video does infact get on google in 10 minutes is true, but, what they don't mention is that the keywords that it ranks for gets almost zero search volume. By search volume I mean how many people search for that keyword phrase per month. Extremely low search volume is completely useless. Its like saying i got number one in google for "one legged japanese midget chefs". Well, good for you but you're not going to make a dime. I saw another youtube video from another traffic geyser user and sure enough he shows us how he got his youtube video ranked in google for keywords "ambit energy review" without the quotes ofcourse. Upon doing a keyword search volume research at seobook, I found these keywords get 6 searches per day. So the just of this report is: Posting a video on youtube is not going to get you on top of google for competitive keywords. Not unless your video gets millions of views and many many ratings over many many months. If the keywords are not competitive , ie very very low search volume, yes you can make it to #1 in google but its a mute point. I find it disappointing that there are still so many make money online marketers that still put out false information just to make a buck. I don't feel this strategy is necessary, especially since the business model today seems to be get your customer, keep him happy and you have him for life. Any false money making promises that come out from a marketer are going to get them one thing. A short lived customer.
