I am back after a long vacation from this site as well as just lazyness. It seems that those using the internet to make money are also somewhat lazy overall. I understand the desire for easy money but don`t confuse easy with easier money. I certainly know several ways to make money online now but I have implemented only 1 and even this is not with an aggresive attitude. And then I remembered a proverb that of course I knew to be true but had forgotten. I bet most of you have forgotten also or at least do not respect it. So here it is. Read it slowly to digest it. Remember it well and say it back whenever you find yourself lazy.

Jogging on the beach today lots of things came to thought about how I was going to succeed online. You may have heard about the wall athletes reach when training or anyone doing something difficult be it sports or brain work. But if you have never experienced it, you are going to have a harder time climbing over it when you get to it. Today while jogging I hit this wall. For me, it happened 3/4 of the way of my 10km trip. It was a point where it was difficult enough that I wanted to quit but I didn`t. I pushed hard for the next 3 minutes and suddenly it was not hard anymore. I found myself jogging along comfortably and at the same speed. Why? Because I managed to climb over the Wall. I will remind you I did not slow down or run downhill or anything like that. I kept up the same pace but I was suddenly not struggling.
The other day someone asked me on my youtube video how can I stay motivated for 6 months if I am not making any money with a website. I replied, I think of the alternative, working a 9-5 grind for so so money, commuting another 2 hours per day or more in rush traffic either public transit or bumper to bumber and feel like you are living only on the weekend. Yuuk.
This website imoneyonline.com has now reached a 3 month life online and I noticed the other day for the first time I am actually getting a page rank from google and a few inbound links. With only 7 inbound links I got PR2 within 3 months. Nothing to write home about but I noticed some people are still at pr0 or pr1 that have been around longer. I have not noticed any increase in traffic yet but the point is that if you put in the effort the results will come. Had I put in more effort I would have had more then 7 inbound links showing up on this may google update. I believe when it comes to making money from free search engine traffic with new websites you need to think of it this way.
Yes you can make a little money in 3 months but count on 6 months to make a living and only if you invest time everyday consistently. I have been watching carlocab in google for the past 3 months who has been #1 for keywords make money online and to my surprise he has slipped to 4th position at the time of this writing. I was surprised because I was shooting for 800 inbound links in order to match him but the #1 for this same keyword phrase only has 230 or so incoming links. Suddenly I got this light of hope that hey, why the heck can`t i do that in say another 3 months?
I do a lot of other things to make money online not just this website. I dabble in google adwords, yahoo marketing, ebay, local auctions selling here in brazil, I even have a few adult websites. So I am always making some money one way or another. If you are just starting out, you should launch as many good money making ideas as you can because when they finally become profitable (hopefully in 3-6 months) you will say to yourself ” Finally, I feel like my work is paying off”.
Hey come on, its not that long of a wait. How long do you wait to make money when you study to get a degree?

And by that I mean you free yourself from the drudgery of waking up early in the morning against your own will and earning less than how much you think you should be worth your time and effort.
White hat is the the methods you know such as manually link building, writing your own content or outsourcing, etc.. basically doing everything by the book is called white hat technique. Blackhat are things that by the book but not usually illegal. So this means blackhat maybe unethical or against terms of usage by your sponsors or merchants but it is almost impossible to get into legal problems in my opinion. Blackhole is an more extreme form of blackhat which can go as far as hacking.
I don`t practice any of these techniques and don`t recommend blackhat or blackhole strategies to anyone for a few reasons.
1. They are generally short lived techniques that get you discovered, banned and therefore all your work must be started again. You think you save time but in most cases, its very time consuming then you originally think.
2. It makes online business a worse place for those honest, hard working business entrepreneus. While I believe you need to be on the up and up and protect your business as much as possible, these shady techniques such as voting or buying your own affiliate produts may put a lot of good websites out of business, websites that offer a valuable resource to the internet.
If you find yourself with no money, no time to wait and in a rut to generate some cash quickly I suppose you can break your ethics and get a launch on your business using some proven blackhat techniques. But I recommend you only use these in extreme needs and only to get you started on your path and if you are not careful you can destroy a lot of hard word overnight.
I just saw a video tutorial of an online marketer and I could not help cringe at the video tutorial entitled 3 steps to instant cash online. So I decided to write this report to review the techniques mentioned because I really hate false information being spread around about making money on the internet.
Technique 1. Create a website in 4 hours and sell in on sitepoint.com for $400 or so.
The marketer mentions that you could just grab youtube videos on the subject as content and that would be sufficient to qualify as content for getting the site ranked on a small niche, indexed etc…
Comment: I suppose if all you had to do is “scrape” or copy content from other sites you could build a site in 4 hours or much less but the truth is google does not index duplicate content even if different domains, different class c ip addresses. Makes perfect sense to me, would you have 2 copies of the same movie on your hard drive? Since it is not indexed you don`t get the credit for the page. Which means if only 1 page (your main page of your site) is original, that is the only page that will be indexed in google. Google gives websites with many pages higher ranking then those with only a few pages. So where do you think you will rank with a one page site indexed? You won`t rank anywhere even for 5 word key phrases.
Technique 2. Article Marketing. Submit your articles to article marketing for free traffic and backlinks.
Comment: I have tried submitting 3 articles to ezinearticles and all 3 times I got a automatic duplicate or similar content reply rejection before even trying to submit the articles. I know my article was not the same but only similar topic because I searched ezinearticles search feature before hand. Nevertheless, it seems if there has been an article written close to the headline you won`t be able to submit your articles. Just like anything else, it works for a certain time, then when its over saturated, its no longer effective.
It’s been more then 2 months now that I have submitted www.imoneyonline.com to about 150 directories manually yet not a single backlink of these directories is showing up in google. I know at least 50 of these have added me to their database already from email confirmations.
At first I thought this is googles way of probating or sandboxing the method of crediting backlinks to new sites but, within the first month of website launch and link request with another blog I got the backlink credit showing up in google. So, I don`t believe this probation , sandbox penalty is applied to all sites. It all depends who the link is coming from. As I have read before and suspected, sites that are valued by google are sites which have content sitting on their server. Directory sites are nothing but links to other sites. There is no content such as written text, photos, videos on the server itself. Because of this I believe google gives the sites importance a big fat ZERO. Do not confuse this with Page Rank.
You will also note these directory sites usually have a PR (page rank) of 3 or 4 on the main page however the category where you want to put your link is either zero or not ranked.
I have spied on competition’s backlinks and can tell you it is not useless to have your link on PR0 or not ranked page. You could however pay attention to the category that has the highest PR where you can list your site. PR is not the end all solution but its worth paying attention to it in this case.
So you’re probably wondering, if submitting to directories is useless how come dmoz and yahoo give such great results for people? We need to realize that comparing dmoz or yahoo to somenonamedirectory.com is almost like compating apples and oranges. Dmoz is a serious authority site with a life of at least 10 years and yahoo directory even longer. Also the main page of the directories are either PR 8 or higher. Dmoz has over 100k one way backlinks.
I have seen some services that submit your site to 300 or 400 directory sites manually and I was considering doing this to any new niche sites with little competition but after seeing zero result with imoneyonline.com I have lost interest.
Instead I believe your link building should be focused on getting links from sites that have content on their own server. I am quite certain google sees these no name no authority link directories as nothing more then link farms.
It took a visit to the sales page of tube automator to confirm the lie about video marketing or tube marketing. Products such as Traffic Geyser promise you loads of traffic quickly if you only submit your videos to the top 30 or 40 video sharing sites such as Youtube, google video , metacafe , etc…
However, here lies the lie. Just like the search engines, only a hand full of videos get decent amount of views. If you analyze the most viewed videos they are generally not monetizing type videos. Sex and porn are certainly easy to get views for your video, infact I have seen many attempts where a photo of a sexy woman is used as thumbnail but the video is about 911 or something completely unrelated to the keywords in the title or the tags. So how is this video marketing? More like video spamming if you ask me. I have seen many good quality videos that don`t get even 100 views in 1 week so its not about quality either. Its about getting attention of the video viewers to click with both keywords and thumbnail photo. That`s the only thing that really matters at the beginning. If the video is of quality, ratings will come naturally and the video will climb and pretty soon it will rank #1 for the keyword phrase you intended it to.
Btw, tubeautomator is a software to give you this jump of the video ratings and views of your quality video. And in my opinion this is the only way video marketing can be successful. If you rely entirely on posting quality videos in quantities, I have strong doubts you will get any decent traffic. I would however like to ask traffic geyser members to comment here as they are all paying $99 per month for video submission. How much are you guys making per month just from video submissions traffic?
